After graduated from Tehran University, faculty of Fine Arts in Graphic design and Communication arts, I decided to move to United States to pursue my masters. I went to Savannah College of Art & Design and got my MFA in illustration.
Right after graduating in Spring 2015, I was offered a full-time job as a graphic designer at Finished Art, one of the major Atlanta-based design studios that work with Coca-Cola, its partners and emerging brands. I have been working in finished Art for nearly two years. Currently due to my husband's job relocation, I am looking for new opportunities in Bay area.
I balance my day job with volunteer creative projects for Vafa animal shelter and GISO (Georgia Iranian Student Organization). They have allowed me to work on other projects that I'm passionate about and find new connections and potential new collaborations.
My creative approach–no matter the medium– starts with research to collect and put together a mood board. After that,
I start sketching and brain storming based on the winner mood and find 2-3 different ways to tackle the problem. Then I share them with our team to narrow down to one concept/approach and develop further from there.
