The role of Information Design is to communicate the required set of data in an appealing, engaging, and memorable way. All this is to provide a pleasant learning experience. This goal will be more likely achieved by defining a pattern in the raw database, classifying that pattern, and finally visually translating it through different mediums such as illustration, animation, typography, and layout.

My goal was to convey the modern quality of this TV series by using simplified shapes and highlight the pop cultural aspect of this TV show. The minimal approach in introducing the main characters is to illustrate each of their unique characteristics. The visual assets around the characters are referring to each family's living environment.

Biking is a shortcut
One of the many excuses we make to drive our car instead of biking is: "it's taking much more longer to get where I want." This poster hits the point that "riding a bike gets you faster to where you want." This comes from my personal experience of living in a city that I went every where by my bike. In many cases I reached to my destination while my friends have been stocked in the traffic.
Imagine a science museum is intending to promote that your visiting experience would be as if you were back in time, with all the dinosaurs displayed in the museum. Stepping in this environment "wakes the PAST".

Living in the rainy, humid, and hot summers of Savannah, GA made me think about a portable fan that is able to cool down the warm rain drops. I could not think about anything more portable than an umbrella since that is what you need to carry in Savannah to stay dry on summer.
